Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University and studied law at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. Lauren's law school journey includes volunteering with the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic and Legal Hospice of Texas. Further beyond her time in college, her legal journey included internships with the DII Asbestos Trust, the Law Offices of Frank Shor, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Lauren's expertise spans business litigation, employment and labor litigation, civil rights, oil and gas, and family law, with successful representations in both state and federal courts.
Beyond her legal work, Lauren enjoys travel, especially to Walt Disney World. She shares her home with two dogs-- Maxwell and Jude, Rottweiler/Ridgeback mixes. An enthusiast of classic rock concerts, Lauren and her dad have attended performances by artists like Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Elton John, Roger Waters, Aerosmith, and Bruce Springsteen. A dedicated non-fiction reader and a Mavericks fan, Lauren embodies a harmonious blend of professionalism, passion, and genuine commitment.
